Children's Christmas Program scheduled for December 7th

Our children's ministry has been working hard on developing a Christmas play to perform for you on Sunday, December 7th at 6:30 p.m. Come and show your support of our children and volunteers who worked so hard to make this special.
Attention parents: We will hold an additional practice night on Tuesday, December 2nd at 7:00 p.m.

Kids 4 Christ will resume on January 11th

The Kids 4 Christ team has been working hard all year and they continue to do so. During the month of December, however, they will be taking time off to plan for next year as they are excited about introducing new curriculum and methods of learning God's Word. There will be no Kids 4 Christ during December for that reason but we will be back in business on January 11th. Don't forget to peek in our improved room upstairs to check out all that space we have now!

Last Camp Blog

Apologies for the delay on our final blog. It was a bit saddening for this trip to be over. We all grew as individuals and as a group. To know that this special time has ended didn't encourage a grand finale type final post. Nevertheless, there must be closure. Our last day is depicted in the final slideshow pictures. I also had to tidy up and add a few photos that were neglected - Campers of the Day and chaperones with war paint (gotta include that!)
Thanks to all who prayed for us. We felt your prayers in His protection and presence. We grew closer to the Lord, learned more about Him and better understood how we can have a real relationship with Him.
Thank you, parents, for giving your children to the Lord this week.

Centri-Kid Day 4

Wow! Time flies when you're having fun!
It seems like we just got here. It truly has been an action-packed week.
Today offered new experiences for our campers as some of the groups displayed some of their newly acquired skills they learned this week at a variety show. The Percussion, Drama, Praise, Cheerleading, and Foot Praise were the entertainment for the evening.
We got to experience a Centri-Kid favorite tradition, OMC (Organized Mass Chaos). Bible study groups competed in a task-oriented competition. It was a great cooperative project for the young people to enjoy - and quite messy also!
God has truly blessed this trip. We have seen Him in action this week and are excited to share our stories with you.

Centri-Kid - Day 3

We had a blessed day today. What fun! Thanks for your prayers, we felt them. Pray for Zack as the sun exposure has made him ill.
Our chaperones had a wonderful prayer time this morning. It was truly phenomenal to meet with God this morning and see how He helped us to love on the children and just enjoy our time with them in His name.
The children are going non-stop with Bible study, their special interest courses, our church group and quiet times, meals (gotta eat!) and worship. We really have a great group of kids with whom I am grateful we could spend this time.

Centri-Kid Camp -- Day 2

"Everyone in this room may not make it to heaven." Those words rang through my mind and heart as one of the counselors was speaking to our group tonight. My eyes insantly watered and I felt a tremendous pressure mounting in my chest. "But I love them, they all have to go to heaven." (My thought after meeting most of these young people only yesterday, imagine how our Lord feels when He who knows us, created us and loved us from the very beginning gets rejected by us, paving our own paths straight to hell.) "Then don't allow that to happen." If any one of the 30 choose to reject the Lord, I'm to blame because I had 5 days of their lives to make a lasting impression for the Lord and I failed. 30 children, 30 names, 30 souls to pray for. Here they are - please join me and our counselors in praying for their salvation, sanctification and any other needs they may have that only He knows about and only He can fulfill:
Rebekah, Rachel, Madison, Jordan, Kelsey, Israel, Siearra, Jamie, Sydney, Mia, Colleen, Payton, Bethany, Ashton, Klara, Amanda, Jessica, Travis, Jessie, Eli, Gabe, Cameron, Tyler, Jacob, Dylan, Zack, Butch, Bradley, Mark & Aaron

First Day at Centri-Kid

30 children and 7 adult chaperones attended their first day at Centri-Kid. We're getting ready for a "Lights, Camera, Action!" packed week in which we all plan to return home with a new story, our story, about how God changed our lives. Pray for us!
